Privacy Policy

This policy explains how TradeMate collects, uses, and stores personal information.

What we collect

TradeMate may collect business account information from tradesmen, including business name, email address, and login credentials. TradeMate may also collect customer enquiry information, including name, email address, phone number, postcode, project details, and conversation content entered into the chat flow.

How we use information

We use this information to operate the platform, route enquiries to the correct tradesman, show leads in the dashboard, send notifications, support quoting workflows, improve lead qualification, and maintain service security.

Who receives enquiry data

Customer enquiry data is shared with the relevant tradesman connected to the enquiry link used by the customer. TradeMate acts as the platform facilitating that transfer.

Retention

We retain account and enquiry data for as long as necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain business records.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect account and lead data, including authentication controls, database-backed storage, and request protections.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data. Privacy-related requests can be directed to the contact address provided by the business using TradeMate, or to the TradeMate operator where applicable.
