Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of TradeMate. By creating an account or sending an enquiry through the service, you agree to these terms.
The service
TradeMate is a platform that helps tradesmen capture, qualify, and manage customer enquiries. Tradesmen receive an enquiry link they can share with customers. Customers use that link to describe a job; TradeMate captures the details and delivers a structured lead to the tradesman's dashboard.
Accounts
Tradesmen create an account using a business name, email address, and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Subscription and billing
Access to the tradesman dashboard requires an active subscription. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe and renew on the cadence shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to send unlawful, harmful, or abusive content; don't attempt to circumvent security controls, scrape data outside what your account is entitled to, or interfere with other users' access. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules.
Customer enquiry data
When a customer submits an enquiry through your link, the captured details (name, contact info, project info) are made available to you in your dashboard. You're responsible for handling that information lawfully and in line with the privacy expectations communicated to your customers.
Service availability
We aim to keep the service running reliably but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service is provided on an as-is basis, and we may change features, pricing, or these terms with reasonable notice.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeMate is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any direct losses is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You can close your account at any time from the dashboard or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms; we'll typically give notice unless an immediate action is required to protect the service or other users.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
